You have entered your username and password but the connection between Vantage and Web Module only results in a 401 error. Why? More importantly how do I fix this?
We believe we have found a solution to your 401 connection problems.
In some cases all that is needed is to enter the published IP address of the Web Module server/computer instead of say the computer name. If this does not resolve the problem then take a look at this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896861
A majority of clients that have experienced this issue have reported that "Method 2" on the above linked page resolved their 401 connection issues straight away.
